Is Trump a 'smart man'?

If you were smart you wouldn't have elected him.

If the Senate were smart they would have convicted him during his impeachment.

If the SCOTUS were smart they would have ruled that he incited the insurrection and is disqualified by the 14th Amendment.

If these folks had acted in good faith, as the founders expected, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

But, clearly, Republicans are not smart. I would clarify 'smart' to mean 'unwise', lacking in wisdom.
In case you didn't realize, the majority of voters voted in Trump, a Republican Senate, and a Republican House. You are in serious election denial.

Let's pretend it's January 1, 2024.

If the American people were smart, who should the leading candidates be in the Democrat and Republican primary races today?

I must have missed the terms of service in the Constitution where every American has to get your permission to do anything first. Can you point it out to me? Or would you rather keep stamping your feet and insisting the world would be perfect if everybody just listened to you?

Well, only a moron would equate my comment as 'expecting ass kissing'.

A smart person would know that I encourage thoughtful debate and discussion devoid of snarky shit comments that do not move the discourse forward, such as your comment.
Look, Slappy, you can eat all your own shit you like. Just don't expect normal people to look at you with anything but disgust when you say it's yummy.

NOT one link! Who the hell are you to make all these outlandish statements? Where are the FACTS? All guesses.
PROVE any of the above ! ZERO proof has been provided why in the hell should we believe you unless we are as dumb as you are by making totally unsubstantiated statements. WHERE IS YOUR PROOF????
He gets all his facts from www.hisflabbyass.com.

He says really really dumb things that are not remotely true... but he gets people to believe it or ignore it... so... is he dumb or genius?
Trump is not intelligent in any way except on how to get attention. He is the most ignorant president in history.

This is a guy who thought we should inject ourselves with disinfectant or shine a bright light to cure Covid.

This is a guy who thought George Washington "seized the airports".

This is a guy who demanded negative interest rates from the Fed which would have made inflation twice as bad as it was.

He is the dumbest idiot ever elected.

His success is entirely owed to being a sociopath.

His followers are going to be very disappointed when inflation takes off again because of his policies.

You people don't even believe your own lies. If you do, it's sad. Think, people, think. Could a dumb person accomplish all this great man has accomplished?

I am willing to substantiate anything you want me to. Pick a couple.

A smart man would know how to distinguish evidence that proves a claim, versus evidence that does not, noting that no evidence was ever presented in a court of law that proved that Democrats stole the election.

A smart man would have never said 'The only way Democrats can win is if they rig the election', and especially would not have asserted it before the first ballot was ever cast, let alone at every rally.'

A smart man would not have craved public adoration so much that he continued to have rallies AFTER he was elected.

A smart man would have had all the major distinguished law firms in Washington DC lining up to help him, they would have been honored to do so. Ih fact, they shunned his business.

A smart man would have known that long before the 63rd failed court battle that the election was not stolen.

A smart businessman would have never short paid his vendors, let alone be proud of the fact.

A smart man would have never created a fake university in which he was sued and had to pay $25,000,000 restitution.

A smart man would never have kicked his epileptic toddler grand-nephew off the family health plan just because of a legal battle with his niece.

A smart man would never have manipulated his father to sign a new will that excluded his deceased brother's estate from their share of the inheritance from Fred Trump, increasing his share of the inheritance from 1/5 of the estate, to 1/4, out of pure greed (which led to the lawsuit by his niece).

A smart man would have accepted the word of his Attorney general, and other notable professionals on his staff who told Trump that the election was not stolen,

When he found out that his golf course in Aberdeen Scotland was depriving the locals of water, he would have made sure his golf resort fixed the problem, long before the many years they were so affected.

Smart man would not have incited an insurrection, resulting in the incarceration of a large swath of his hard core believers.

However, if an insurrection occurred despite best intentions, a smart man would have immediately made a valiant effort to stop it.

During the insurrection, a smart man would have made a strong effort to protect his vice president.

A smart man would have never went along with the 'fake electors' scheme.

A smart man would never have instructed his VP to thwart the will of the people to install his fake electors.

A smart man would never have enlisted help from dull witted people like Sydney Powell, Rudy Giuliani, Steve Miller, Steve Bannon, etc.

A smart man would never have hired a campaign manager with close ties to russian oligarchs, especially when there were strong suspicions of Russian collusion.

A smart man would never have asserted on national Television, and invitation for Russia to hack the servers of his competitor.

A smart man would never have said he would accept election help from a foreign adversary, as it is illegal.

A smart man would never have asked the question, 'If we have nukes, why can't we use them' as it is not a question that would ever have occured to smart man.

A smart man, as president, would have placed his entire financial portfolio in a blind trust, not to be touched until out of office.

A smart man would never have said stupid things, such as:

There are many more things that a Smart Man would not have done that Trump did, and would have done that Trump did not do.

Therefore, by a very reasonable and just standard, Donald Trump is a very stupid man.

Yes, he is clever.

Yes, he is persuasive (to the gullible).

But, intelligent?

But wise?

No.

Given that he is a criminal, a fraudster, a sex abusing con man, what could possibly go wrong?

CNN's Van Jones explains in this two minute video why Trump is so much smarter than the OP...

Trump outsmarted the media, the Deep State, the Dems.

You wrote: who loves Putin,
the 'poorly educated',
not to mention that he despises democracy and
has
betrayed America, and by these facts, is the worst president in history.
Where is your proof that Trump "loves Putin"? What document ever stated "Trump loves Putin"??? WHERE??
"poorly educated"... and obviously he loves you... a poorly educated person as evidently YOU are by the fact
you can't provide any FACTS that Trump "loves poorly educated"! You are providing zero for these totally personal and ignorant comments.
Finally where is there any statement by Trump that he "despises democracy"???
ZERO statements by Trump.
BUT here is a FACT: Trump cut rules and regulations that constrains democracy and here are the facts!

In the new status report, the administration claims that in fiscal year 2020 it eliminated $144 billion in overall regulatory costs, across the board. Since 2017, the Trump White House says it has put in place cuts of $198.6 billion overall, and provided a tabular breakdown in which the Department of Transportation and the Environmental Protection Agency can be seen to account for the vast bulk of savings.

Regulations at ‘Lowest Count Since Records Began Being Kept in the Mid-1970s’

The calendar year concluded with 61,950 pages in the Federal Register […]
This is the lowest count since 1993’s 61,166 pages. That was Bill Clinton’s first year, and his own lowest-ever count.
A year ago, Obama set the all-time Federal Register page record with 95,894 pages.
Trump’s
Federal Register is a 35 percent drop from Obama’s record, set last year.
So tell me how does a President who "despises democracy"
REDUCE the rules and regulations that are the tools of dictators?

Biden Admin Races To Add $1.2 Trillion In New Regulations As Election Looms

The Biden administration has added a total of $1.2 trillion in costs to the economy in the first several months of 2024 from finalized regulations as the president rushes to protect his agenda ahead of the November election.

The cost of the new regulations is more than double those added in the first three years of Joe Biden’s presidency, which totaled $447.9 billion, despite adding only 187 regulations so far in 2024 compared to the 783 added from 2021 to 2023, according to the American Action Forum’s (AAF) regulation tracker.
There can be no rational defense of this. It's the actions of a man who wants to be a dictator.

A smart person would never have lost to the person the OP is speaking of.
