Each states National Gaurd can provide security for polling places and it CAN happen... But only the individual state governor's can order it.

Why? The answer is that ALL groupthink cults run on the edge of hysteria. The reason for the groupthink hysteria is two fold: the first is crisis oriented leadership as perceived crisis(panic) often leads to hysteria(emotional overload) among the rank & file body of the cult. Emotional overload leaves a person feeling trapped/helpless which makes the affected person susceptible to manipulation by a person(s) in a leadership position that the hysterical person can relate to as a savior @ the moment. ALL cults operate on this method, which in all reality is just P)ower & C)ontrol(PC). Even non cult based organised religious organizations are susceptible to succumbing to PC manipulation.
