It's not shocking at all that she did it, and I believe CNN knew she did it. But when the Wikileaks emails made sure everbody else knew it, they were forced to part ways to seem bipartisan.

No, not necessarily. It depends when they knew. If they always knew, but only fired her ass when it became public knowledge, then they did it to save their ass, not their integrity.
