It was the day before the 4th of July when Bernie Sanders supporter and activist Shawn Lucas served papers to Debbie Wasserman Schultz et al at the Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C. Almost a month later to the day, Lucas was found dead on his bathroom floor.

The video above shows the moment Lucas and filmmaker Ricardo Villaba walk into the DNC and initiate a fraud class action suit against the party on behalf of Sanders supporters, celebrating a sort of Independence Day moment of their own, according to Gateway Pundit.

As is noted in the report, the lawsuit was begun before the Wikileaks release of hacked internal DNC e-mails that proved Sanders’ campaign was sabotaged by the party.

By all accounts, Lucas’s death is a mystery and not many details have been released: no cause of death and an unconfirmed report that it was his girlfriend that found him lying on the bathroom floor on the evening of August 2.
