Actually it is; it's right there in the headlines in the OP. Finding random stories about some non-gang shooting in Texas, as if they don't happen with equal or more frequency elsewhere is just dishonest in relation to the rest of the country.

It's a thread about a specific crime, and you want to take away from who did it with some 'Teachable Moment' that has nothing to do with the OP story. That's hackery and spin, which is why when you said you were a 'journalist' or something in another thread I believed it.
