Local officials say seven people were shot. Six victims were taken for treatment, while another person reportedly left the scene on their own.

Two people were killed and four others were injured during a burst of gunfire Sunday night in Paterson, according to News 12 sources.

Neither Paterson police or the the Passaic County Prosecutors office have confirmed the fatalities as of the latest update.

The shooting happened near Rosa Parks Boulevard and Godwin Avenue, according to local officials.

Normally I would not even bother with posting black on black crime but the location made me laugh.

I see poor ol Rosa Parks has joined with MLK as boulevards where nothing good ever happens.
