Some old fashioned horse trading went on to get this latest COVID relief bill passed. Democrats wanted to give low income families a tax credit but the Republicans said no way unless they got something in return. They got it..a bigger write off for business lunches...Democrats wanted a tax credit for low income families. Republicans wanted a tax break for '3 martini lunches.'
