The issue of the legality of stopping these drug boats has come into question by many people and I concede that legally, it might not be the best thing to do. But as a practical person, I applaud the simplicity, directness, effectiveness of Trump's actions. In one fell swoop, he eliminated a problem completely with the absolute minimum investment in time, money, risk, and resources while sending a dire message to Venezuela to knock it off.

My biggest concern with what Trump did is what happened to all those drugs? Did they get blown out into the ocean or are they dissolving on the ocean floor impacting marine life? Of course, the intent of the law is to limit prosecutorial abuse in order to protect the innocent, but we all know that really translates into just more convolutions for litigators to play with in order to conceal criminal activity and to delay justice.

But I like Trump's Get 'Er Done attitude of taking the shortest and sweetest path to resolution until someone proves him wrong and forces him to otherwise change his MO. Unlike Biden and endless others, at least Trump is addressing the problem and getting measurable, real results instead of playing politics again.

Do not forget, Ashlee was not even armed, Ashlee had not damaged or broken down the door herself, Ashlee was in a PUBLIC government building ostensibly FOR the public, Ashlee made no threatening moves or actions against anyone, Officer Byrd had issued no prior warning before firing, and Byrd had a HISTORY of doing such off-the-wall half-cocked stuff with his service revolver.

Byrd was a repeat offender, a DEI hire, and Ashlee was only his latest victim due to the government putting DEI hires as more important to them than people's lives, and this continued coverup of Byrd while blaming Ashlee for her death is just more of the same ongoing defense of the whole DEI program.
