Another day, another mass shooting at a bar

Indeed a few weeks ago i got into an argument with some moron who thought it ok to push his way to the front of the checkout at the Supermarket, with the gun mentality in the US it could have turned deadly with bullets flying all over the place.
Not a fan of peace through strength I guess. How about you go watch a slew of road rage video's where the attacker was instantly sent back to his vehicle in retreat, and this happens when the one about to be attacked pulled out his gun against the attacker who was going to use his bat that was being brandished in the event to hurt the innocent person with.

So the tables were instantly turned sending the would be attacker fearing for his life, and this instead of him threatening an innocent person's life in the RR event.

Look, all events have escalatory factors involved, so lucky for you is that you weren't dealing with an individual that might have escalated the situation into becoming a deadly situation, otherwise where you might have needed your concealed weapon in order to de-escalate the event in that type of way.

Consider yourself lucky on that day, but it should make you ponder the what ifs or maybe you are just not being truthful with yourself about the environment we live in today.

Glad it worked out for you.

This news didn't even make the front page. I guess we know why.

We're getting too far away from the original bill of rights with our interpretations.

Have you never checked the news?

Yes, I have a news feed reader that I check every morning. It downloads news stories from more than 30 news media sources. And except for a rare occasion when some right-winger loses his shit and goes off on some people, the majority of mass shootings are done by criminals, insane people transgenders, faggots, Trump-haters, drug addicts, burglars, robbers, muggers, gang-bangers, teens whose parents had them on anti-depressants, or Islamic radicals.

Very seldom ever does a valid concealed carry permit holder ever shoot anyone, other than in self-defense. The same goes for NRA members, gun collectors, gun show vendors, ammunition handloaders, law-enforcement officers, recreational shooters, and hunters. Sure, you can find a few instances where a legal firearm committed a crime. But there are between 65 to 84 people in the US who legally own at least one firearm. And gun crimes are something most of them don't commit.

This time it was a South Carolina bar in a primarily Black neighborhood. Four killed and 20 injured.

4 people killed, 20 more injured in shooting at South Carolina bar, sheriff says

"A mass shooting at a crowded bar on an idyllic South Carolina island has left four people dead and at least 20 injured, officials said. The shooting occurred early Sunday at Willie’s Bar and Grill on St. Helena Island, officials said. A large crowd was at the scene when sheriff’s deputies arrived and found several people suffering from gunshot wounds. “Multiple victims and witnesses ran to the nearby businesses and properties seeking shelter from the gun shots,” the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement on X.

“This is a tragic and difficult incident for everyone. We ask for your patience as we continue to investigate this incident. Our thoughts are with all of the victims and their loved ones,” the statement said. Four people were found dead at the scene, and at least 20 other people were injured. Among the injured, four were in critical condition at area hospitals. The victims’ identities were not released.

St. Helena Island is considered the largest Gullah community on the South Carolina coast. An estimated 5,000 or more people living there are descended from slaves who worked rice plantations in the area before they were freed by the Civil War.

Smaller enclaves of Gullah, referred to as Geechee in some areas, are scattered along the Southeast coast from North Carolina to Florida. Scholars say separation from the mainland caused the Gullah to retain much of their African heritage, including a unique dialect and skills such as cast-net fishing and basket weaving."

I'm shocked that this happened in a black neighborhood.

Then I am surprised that you are unaware that people in the US are being shot on a daily basis in response to every one of those reasons I've given you. Maybe you are limited to an agenda-bias you’ve chosen to access.

Of course people are being shot on a daily basis. And in most cases, they're being shot by people who can't even legally possess a firearm.

I didn't even hear about this until now. Great job by the media hiding the news when their favorite demographics is doing the work. I also didn't see Democrats erupted in anger and screaming to more gun control.

Yep, he messed around and found out that you can't be walking up on someone thinking that they can't defend themselves these days, when in fact they can in many cases these day's.

That cop must be Clint Eastwood in his gun slinging quickness (except for he's the real deal instead of an actor), otherwise because man he was fast.

Problem with criminal types getting or toting guns today, is that they end up dying by the very thing that made them think that they were invincible because of it.

Good training can't be replaced by sideways shooting wanta be's who think that it's the gun that makes them the Billy bad aces.

Cops ain't playing anymore. They've had enough of the bull chit.

The NRA is a good indication, listen i am not against gun ownership i was once a shooter until some nut went crazy in Scotland and killed a load of kids, then the Government over reacted and banned anyone from owning guns like me and my mate who were into target shooting, practical pistol shooting, we had to stop, but at that time our gun laws were very strict with regular home visits by the Police to check where the weapons were stored etc, but gun laws can be far too relaxed like in the US.

The Scots have apparently turned into a bunch of pussies, I bet your ancestors are proud.

The owner is BLACK.
The victims, lets see if you can guess by the names

The dead, all South Carolina residents, were Kashawn Glaze, 22, of Beaufort; Chiraad Smalls, 33, of Beaufort; A’shan’tek Milledge, 22, of Burton; and Amos Gary, 54, of St. Helena, Beaufort County Chief Deputy Coroner Shane Bowers said in a statement Monday.
