Socialism in Norway, Sweden and Finland seem not to suffer from the same problem... It could be that South American countries usually suffer badly because of the mere fact their leaders never practice what they preach and starve the population and are more like Communist North Korea and less like Socialist Countries like Finland...

I do not support the concept of Socialism but I do know many countries from Canada to Finland seem to never suffer the same effects for some reason...

Very good point. There are many capitalist countries that succeed, but there are many that fail. The same can be said for socialist counties. Some succeed in Europe and Asia and many fail.

Could mix of the two ideals be the key.

common sense regulated capitalism is the best IMO. The main point being individual freedom.
Conformity is for the birds. And so is corporatism.
