Do you know how many hours it takes to write a book, like an autobiography based upon a political narrative? Way too many, but I’ll check for average estimates. No politician should be writing books on the dime of his state constitutes nor federal tax monies either. The salary they earn as civil servants working for his or her constituents should not include spending days and weeks marketing and selling books and making personal profit. Of course it’s the state’s voters who decide if that matters to them or not. For you to support that indicates that you believe politicians should be able to be career politicians and gain wealth from their positions.
Your old argument about Joe’s stuttering- open your eyes and ears. His obvious signs of dementia have nothing to do with his stuttering. He has no clue about his surroundings, he referred to his sister as his wife on stage, clueless about which direction to walk so they have to lead him around so he doesn’t walk into thick shrubs, tell him not to shake hands with the air and tell him to not answer questions (much video evidence exist about all things listed) and he’s told to not take questions that weren’t previously screened. Sure thing swifty!
The rich are fairly taxed. You raise taxes on subset of billionaires they’ll go elsewhere, but that’s what you’re hoping for is my bet. Don’t be jealous of the 10 top US billionaires who paid less via 100% legal measures to reduce their taxes like Bezos, Musk and 8 others. I hold no envy against people who work hard, employ many, and their efforts pay off.
Work to change tax codes if you don’t like it, otherwise you’re blowing smoke.
