I promise you that I’ve done more with my life in any two years than you’ve done in an entire lifetime. I didn’t put on shiny boots and then beg high school kids to fight for me.Nothign more pathetic than an internst bad asss that has never done anything with their life.

Indeed.Lol, it's you trumpkins that want more military spending, not us sensible folks.Unimaginable and inexcusable ineptitude by our federal government.
If a private organization was this inept, the left would take to the streets with violence. They would demand all kinds of “regulatory” reforms and legislation. And yet when it happens with tax payer dollars, all they do is shrug and insist that we need more government. An audit conducted by Ernst & Young found that the agency’s accounting procedures are so flawed that there is no reliable way to track how it uses its $40 billion annual budget.
Major Pentagon agency can’t account for $800 million — but still may get a budget increase
Correct, the sensible ones want spending for NPR and PBS.
Nobody is calling for cuts in R&D. We're calling for cuts in playing World Police. We can still have the most dominant military if we force some accountability and make the military spend those funds wisely, on our defense, not on Germany's or South Korea's or Japan's or anyone else.
Yeah, well......the world police is not a worldwide position that we created; it sort of just developed.
.
Wrong...it was a specific strategy as part of expanding our power and influence.
The private sector does the exact opposite. It penalizes failure and rewards success. Which is why the private sector always results in more success than government. This program subsidizes flood insurance by providing coverage below the actuarially fair rate, thereby encouraging people to build their homes and businesses in flood-prone areas. This results in more people living in harm’s way and makes large-scale disaster more costly.
Rather than expand the flood insurance program as FEMA has suggested, Congress should retire it and allow the private sector to provide. Private-sector insurance would set prices according to a region’s risk level, thereby discouraging development in high-risk flood zones.
Then, they should pay us for it. The rest of the world seems to think we owe it. Let them live without our protection for while if they don’t like it.Nobody is calling for cuts in R&D. No, it's to maintain our power and influence. All our military and nukes won't do us any good if most of the world is run by Communists, dictators and tyrants, That's why it's important to have a country strong enough to protect these countries from getting that way.

If we don't want to be the world police anymore, there are plenty of countries who will gladly take that responsibility off our hands. Just think of all the countries that are large enough or strong enough to take our place.
More government is better government
That’s the typical answer for a parasite. It is hard to mooch off of society without more government to facilitate the mooching.More government is better government
Look at all of the progressives disingenuously avoiding the issue by pretending that this only happens in the Department of Defense (because that perfectly suits their “weaken the U.S.” agenda). You can’t have it both ways, lefties.
The U.S. government pays employees a total of about $1 million per minute, according to a watchdog group’s report on the sprawling federal bureaucracy.
Looking at 78 large agencies, the nonprofit organization OpenTheBooks.com found that the average salary of a federal employee exceeds $100,000 and that roughly 1 in 5 of those on the government payroll has a six-figure salary.
Almost 30,000 rank-and-file government employees make over $190,823, more than any governor of the 50 states.

More government is Communism or Dictatorships.
Government was supposed to be low paying, civil “service” jobs. But sadly, greedy progressives have turned them into high paying, corruption jobs.
