Sen. Richard Burr (R., N.C.), chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said Wednesday that his committee has so far found no evidence of collusion between Russia and Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.
Speaking at a Capitol Hill news conference, Burr said the Intelligence Committee, which is investigating Russian involvement in the 2016 election, still "has more work to do."
"The committee continues to look into all evidence to see if there was any hint of collusion," Burr said while standing alongside the committee's top Democrat, Sen. Mark Warner (Va.). "I'm not going to even discuss initial findings because we haven't any."
The news conference was held as a progress report on the ongoing probe, the scope of which is growing and has not shied away from addressing possible Russian collusion, according to CNN.

FYI-the article is deceiving and that;s out of complete context of what Burr said....
he continued after saying he had none... because they had thousands of pieces of evidence to go through....a tremendous amount of evidence documents and hundreds of hours of testimony to go thru....and another 25 scheduled interviews ahead the next month...
NOT BECAUSE there was no evidence supporting collusion, but that they had not been able to review all of the evidence they gathered on it yet....

Just because the Trump White House leaks continuously, doesn't mean a much more professionally run organization is going to leak at all.

Under the regulations governing special counsel investigations, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who has oversight over the Russia investigation, would have been made aware of any charges before they were taken before the grand jury for approval, according to people familiar with the matter.
On Friday, top lawyers who are helping to lead the Mueller probe, including veteran prosecutor Andrew Weissmann, were seen entering the court room at the DC federal court where the grand jury meets to hear testimony in the Russia investigation.
Reporters present saw a flurry of activity at the grand jury room, but officials made no announcements.
