Mass shootings spike in 2020 even during a pandemic year.

" Despite the US response to the coronavirus pandemic using sporadic stay-at-home orders and lockdowns, as at November 26 2020 there have been 578 mass shootings so far this year. According to data provided by the Gun Violence Archive, which records mass shooting deaths, this is already significantly above the 417 mass shootings recorded in the whole of 2019. "

And for this year so far,

US has been wracked with several mass shootings in 2021 - ABC ...

Apr 16, 2021 · After a significant drop in mass shootings in the United States during a pandemic-hit 2020 [which is in conflict with above], this year has seen several deadly ones By The Associated Press April 16, 2021, 5:33 PM

The problem is how we define "mass shooting" in the number of deaths and casualties per incident.

That is a lie.......they are lumping gang shootings in with mass public shootings to scare uninformed Americans.

Americans understand mass public shootings as single individuals walking into a random public space and shooting strangers.

The number of shootings your source uses is lying....these are not those types of shootings....these are criminals in gangs and other activity shooting at other criminals......something that does not touch normal American who do not engage in crime or associate with actual criminals....

Mother Jones collects actual mass public shooting numbers...

2018...12
2019...10
2020...1
2021, 4 so far....

Big difference when you don't lump in gang shootings....
The evidence is against you.
No it isn't.
You are not the one, though, who defines what is mass murdering. Tough but there it is.
And you are?

Tell me how you assumed this position of make believe authority where you get to decide what is and what isn't...... oh wait; I don't care.

The answer to every demand you make is "No."
Just fuck off already.

I don't make those decisions; truth is self evident.

AZTD, your argument makes no sense.

People rarely use cars for mass murder.

Cars kill more people every single year than guns do when guns are used illegally to commit murder......

American citizens use their legal guns 1.1 million times a year to stop rapes, robberies and murders, according to the Centers for Disease control...

No matter how you add up the numbers, guns in the hands of citizens save more lives than they take....

Cars....37,595 deaths.

Guns....murder....70-80% of the victims are criminals...of the rest, the majority are the friends and family of the criminals.....

10,235

How many times a year, on Average, do Americans use their legal guns to fight criminals...to stop rape, robbery and murder...

1.1 million....according to the Centers for Disease control....
And safety regs and alterations happen all the time with cars and roads. You DO know that, right?

Guns are one of the most regulated products in the country, you dipshit......
And obviously need more regulations.

we have all the laws and regulations we need.....the problem is the democrat party keeps releasing violent, known, repeat gun offenders........if they would stop doing that, our gun crime and gun murder would drop over 95%......you twit.

Do you have evidence to support your claims. Please post it. Show that GOP bureaucrats have never released violent, repeat gun offenders.

agree. Regulate the person who owns or uses the guns.
Why not start with criminals who are arrested with illegal guns all the time

the law should make illegal procession of a firearm a crime that carries a mandatory 5 years in prison or reform school

There are some very devout 2nd amendment proponents who feel that a felon should be allowed to possess a firearm. After all, the right to bear arms shall not be infringed.
