The story line that Trump stole sensitive documents and endangered American security simply won't fly. His estate has 24-hour Secret Service security. Everyone in Washington knew what was taken in real time, so the archives knew - or should have known - everything in Trump's possession. If they didn't they are incompetent.
The only plausible explanation is that Trump was holding documents that could prove embarrassing to the DoJ/FBI, and they wanted to confiscate those documents.
He will NEVER be prosecuted for any of the made-up crimes that have been floated so far. The search warrant and the raid were both outrageous and Constitutionally preposterous. The prosecutor and several other DoJ executives would be sanctioned and possibly even disbarred.
