Now that the election is over and Trump won the popular vote as well as a landslide electoral victory, isn't it time that the angry vindictive (minority) left admits that Trump is a patriot and supports the Military and Veterans completely?

President Trump, when he was of an age to be drafted or enlist, did what virtually everyone else in his exalted social class did, excepting only the ones who might have had some aspirations to a political career later on. That is to say, he figured out a way to get out of it.

To illustrate the point, I suggest that readers call to mind the well-published and popular pictures of the Rock Festival at Woodstock, which was held on August 15, 1969, in the heart of the Vietnam conflict. Think about all the tens of thousands of young men who were represented among the masses shown in those pictures. Essentially, NONE of them were soldiers, sailors, airmen, or veterans. To be unkind, they were all draft dodgers. So singling out Donald Trump as though he was some sort of privileged individual is ahistorical.

Further, for what it's worth, his tax dollars during the period paid for a goodly number of his peers who were serving, and that's something.

As President, Trump did (and will do) more to benefit the Armed Forces than ANY Democrat has done since John Kennedy.

A person like that does not have the right to criticize Veterans. With today being Veteran's day and Trump being elected, this was NOT something that could be put to rest. I will repeat this every Veterans Day while he is our president.

I am going to say something for the sake of saying it, and it applies to all Trumpers that read my posts

I truly have nothing personal against any of you. You are entitled to your opinion. Nonetheless, what I truly despise is ignorance by choice. We are put here on this Earth to learn, gain knowledge, and become better persons and that should mean listening to facts, data and statistics.

My accountant is a man that I have known and been close friends with for close to 40 years. He believes in Trump and we have discussed the issue. He has some fundamental issues that he believes Trump brings to the table, but he is the first to acknowledge the negatives of Trump (his lying, his narcissism, his lack of caring for others, etc.). He thinks the benefits he brings to the table outweigh the negatives. We disagree on that but we do not fight about it, we do not debase each other about it and we remain extremely close friends.

As I have stated many times before, I was a Republican for 35 years and there are a lot of things about the Republican party that I believe in but it is the centrist Republican (not the Right, which in charge these days) that I believe in.

What I find in you are just about every other Trumper on this board is a total devotion to the man without a shred of truth of who the man is being important to you.

You for example, put a negative rating on ALL of my posts and yet many (if not most) of my posts have facts data and statistics. You totally throw them away (and I mean totally).

How can anyone communicate, discuss an issue, or have any form of discussion about the issues that truly affect everyone if you shut everything away other than devotion for Trump.

When you do that, you lose all value as a person worth even listening to. You bring nothing to the table. In fact, you bring negatives (like cockroaches and ants to the table). You become a total waste of time.

I NEVER ignore or run away from any discussion. Nonetheless, I have put 30 people on ignore here on this message board because of the reasons given above.

It is truly sad that so many people do things blindly.

Unconfirmed Lies? I am sure that among the 40,000 lies accredited to Trump many are unconfirmed and some open for discussion about the meaning of them being lies but the reality is that I have personally read and checked over 100 lies that he has said that are confirmed as it is humanly possible. That in and of itself puts him in the category of being pathological
