If this be true, why do we have prisons? We should give amnesty to all lawbreakers so as not to show any predjudice.

If the Republican Leadership doesn't get on board with this, and quickly, the Democrats will jump in front of this parade and claim they are leading it. This will cause the Republicans to lose their majorities and likely the Presidency. I know that Colorado in particular, even if it was HillBilly Clinton running, would vote D if tey felt that they would actually work to close that border.

You could see the first steps to this when HillBilly tentatively started claiming that she was leading that particular parade, she started talking about Illegal Immigration as a bad thing.

This would be a major turnaround for the D Party, but we all know the politicians will whore themselves to any idea that will gain them ascendancy over their opponents.

I agree. When Hillary was invited to address the Minutemen (Bush not invited because he called them 'vigilantes'), word is she strongly considered accepting. Had she done it, she would have guaranteed her Presidency.
