Americans needing 2 or more jobs spike under Trump to record levels

You can hardly put the blame on him for that after only two and half months, but you knew that already.

One can also say the gig economy such as uber and other apps add to this phenomenon.

The real question is how many people still do under the counter side jobs, like many of the adults I knew back in the 70's, 80's and 90's did.

Our letter carrier also delivered Pizzas, my dad had a full time job and did handyman work on the side, our neighbor moonlighted as an auto mechanic as well as had a factory mechanic job.

My Boy made $300k last year and he's got a 2nd job (His Wife only made $100k). He' waiting tables at a High End Restaurant in Naples two nights a week. He enjoys it. Waited on Sean Hannity last week. Met the Assistant Director of the FBI. I don't think he should do it but he wants to. Oh well

Waiters at top of the line restaurants make good money, the waiting list to get a job at say Peter Lugers, Per Se, Rao's or other high end NYC restaurants must be a years.

So no comment on the terrible job news? How many people have to be working two or three jobs before we decide this tariff experiment is a disaster? This was all before the stock market crashed. I bet old people are heading in to work soon too with their savings wiped out.

My son is heavily invested in stocks and when they fell he took cash and got even more invested in his stocks. He plans to recoup his investments when he can collect he says $200,000 in profits. He has a long history of doing this and has increased his stock holdings many times.

Did they all run a get second jobs after the election? Because Trump's policies are just now starting to be put in to action. No one has been harmed over what Trump plans to enact. If a family needs 2 or 3 incomes, it is because Obiden has strangled them, not Trump.

Yeah, Naples is the 2nd richest Zip Code in the US with only a Miami Zip Code beating it out. So there's a little money there.

Der Kinder is fairly well-known because he managed a Golf Course Restaurant where the average home is $10M+. That's where he got in trouble and started drinking too much. He's a Tee-totaler now, though. Taught him a lesson about success. Point being, he has no trouble getting jobs at high end places. He likes the hospitality industry but got tired of it when his Son started getting older. What with having to work weekends and holidays. Both he and his son are superb athletes and he didn't want to miss watching him grow up.
