"The base we came from was struck by rockets in the early morning hours. People we lived with for a couple days are confirmed dead. It is only a matter of time before our location is targeted. We are about to be cut off by a Russian tank column any day now..."

They poked the bear and they are getting mauled for it.

"Food, water, and ammunition dwindle slowly. The mood is somber, people are sending their last messages to friends and family."

That should put an end to the western psyop on Russia. This is part of the cauldron that Russia is forming in cities and the donbas, where most soldiers are stationed. They will be encircled until they either surrender or grow weak enough to finish off.

"Where is NATO? Where is the supposed good of western civilization?"

NATO abandoned Ukraine just as they abandoned the Kurds, Georgians and Afghanis. Big surprise?

"An important note: this American is a special ops veteran who completed combat deployments to Afghanistan. He came to Ukraine before Russia's full-scale war on Feb. 24. He is an experienced, well-trained soldier who gave up his lucrative career in the US in order to help Ukraine"

Makes it all the better for Russia. Can't wait to send that Amerikansky back in a body bag where he belongs.

Can the US just for once stop causing wars over their anti-Russian crusade and manipulate other countries against us just so they abandon them?

All we can do is hope that the Ukrainians come to their senses and surrender.

Killing Ukrainians just to steal their land makes no sense to me. Are Russians proud of their war?

Whether Russia "steals" Ukraine or not is entirely up to Zelensky. Putin already warned that Ukraines statehood is on question if Zelensky doesnt listen to Putins demands.
Sakaashvili was given the same option in Georgia and didnt listened, so he lost south ossetia for it.

A Americans, you shouldnt slam Russia for alleged land theft. After all, the US has a long track record of stealing land from Native Americans and Mexicans and also endorsed their NATO ally Turkey to take northern Cyprus and Northwest Syria. Lets not forget the Golan heights either were Syrians are being forced out of by Israel.

Look in the mirror first then judge us.

The Ruskies have not taken what they want...If they had the battles would cease.
190,000 Russian troops are fighting 180,000 Ukrainian regular troops trained and organized to NATO standards and another 310,000 reservists and security forces. Normal attack-defense ratios call for a 3 to 1 advantage. Russia is attacking at 1 to 2.5+ disadvantage and is winning.

They don't seem to be winning much.

How would you know one way or the other given the one-sided "reporting" by the western press going on?

Hell, you would not think anyone was dying over there but Russians and women/children by the reports out of the West.....I mean what, is the Ukranian.mil wearing magic underwear or something?

They must be since the war continues or does peace come with continuous attacks?

Zelensky is a business partner to the DNC....he sold his country men for that stupid cause. What a complete dope! This invasion NEVER NEEDED TO HAPPEN.

Zelensky choose this....and for what? They should have tossed him out and saved their country.

I figured it would take at least two months (minimum) to take Ukraine, maybe even three. I would not even start to assess effectiveness till after that time.
First and foremost are the Ukrainians... Zelensky needs to quit with the crazy ideas and just get them back home....none of this was necessary. None of it!

Jo

The West is also to blame for egging him on.

Ukraine is larger than France, so its gonna take time.

Them thar dumast injinz thunk the same thang.
The US has done some pretty horrible things in the past, but this is 2022. We chased Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait. I thought invasion and extermination was pretty much a thing of the past.
