Dominion is just trying to save face, any real legal experts would make it so that these attempt do worse for their reputation then better. I don't know if anything illegal occurred, but I do know I don't trust software of online poker, or other games, why would I trust it for the most cherished of democratic processes. I'm sure many Americans feel the same way. We don't even use their software in Federal elections in Canada.

It's not a difficult argument and the onus must be on the company to clear the videos and past circumstances. Or why would citizens want their software being used?

They can then point to public allegations about votes being switched from Biden to Trump. After the initial public allegation, a few days later it suddenly switched to "it was human error". Not exactly a strong vote of confidence.


Finally, there is a video of a guy hacking the system. Due to concerns, even Democrat Primary candidates were concerned about the reliability of this software.

What is worse by far, as usual, the unintended consequences of this fallout do far more damage to U.S reputation and drive their allies away. In my opinion, the U.S government should have done a transparent, investigation, even if only 10 days long. This would have gone a long way to dispelling any problems and shown leadership on transparency. Everyone could say, "look, there was a full investigation and it confirms that it was legit". How does it look when 3 years was spent investigating a sitting president, but they won't explore the questions and concerns being raised, in a most unusual election?

Instead, they not only ignored these concerns, companies like twitter and facebook shut down the debate. Silencing doubters and doing, once again, far more harm to American Interests around the globe.

I've said it many times, for 30 years the same people have been wrong about so much. The best asset America has, it's most crucial quality in global influence has been it's reputation for liberty, transparency and honest brokering. Reagan notoriously used this reputation to defeat the Eastern Bloc communists. Is this now still the case?

Whoever pushed for the above, has followed Canadas path, and it leads to allies turning their back on you. In this case, right into Chinas arms, even as they are conflicted in their ability to trust them.

None of this is conspiracy, this global shift is happening. I'm simply outlining why it is happening in my opinion. A lack of faith by American citizens in your elections and institutions has a real ripples effect globally. Trying to silence people and LESS transparency, not more; is the worst approach.
