Saw the movie and liked it. As a biopic; it's limited (or should be) to the subject so the scope is so much more narrow than most movies. As a result, AS (as with all biopics) suffer when compared to something based on a screenplay.

It was not the best movie in years--far from it. We're all entitled to our opinion but I suspect the well-meaning film of the closest thing our nation has had to a comic-book hero will fall short of such a lofty place that is occupied by Casablanca, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Usual Suspects, Goodfellas or Titanic.
