That's not the point. He scared them into inflating their reviews. If the movie was as good as they insist it probably would have landed more nominations.

What is sad today is the sensitivity of people to criticism, mockery and name calling. My grandmother taught me something I wish everyone could know and utilize to temper their anger:

It could be a great film, but I doubt it's the "best film ever made". Though, I admit to thinking "12 Years a Slave" was being over-hyped, but it turned out to be a damn good movie.
