Did they have a search warrant? If not it was an illegal search by an agency that has no constitutional authority to exist.

The story didn't say they saw the handle of a gun, just what appeared to be. Is there a reason they couldn't have secured the truck and waited for a warrant?

Also you didn't address the officers belonging to an agency that has no constitutional authority to exist.
