I started watching it, but had to stop after hearing his take on gun ownership. He lost all credibility with me, as he clearly doesn't understand the importance of the RKBA and the 2nd Amendment.

Even if he has some other points that are valid, it seems to me that his views don't come from "living abroad" but because he appears to be just another statist.

Well, kinda had to work out which part of the forum to start this thread.

Basically, the American in this video has been living abroad for 12 years and he covers such areas as Health, Education, Guns, Freedom and so on. Actually, quite a few areas of the "US Discussion" part of the forum.

Not only I found what he had to say interesting, but also the comments. And as I read the comments, I can relate to how these match the posters comments on USMB who are from outside of America.





Now, there's a chance this thread will move from this part of the forum, but I thought it was the most appropriate place.

Would be interesting to hear what you guys think. I know that many will just diss the video without watching it, but I'm sure there should be the odd useful post.

I found his thoughts on Freedom, Health Care, and Education very interesting.

First and the obvious, this is a well produced, big money, video addressing all the democrat talking points, maybe this man lives abroad, but if he really does live abroad, he would not be up to date all the democrat talking points and educated enough on said points to articulate them.

So one, it is a lie that this is the view of people that have lived abroad.

The real question thus, is, are all the democrat/liberal talking points true about the USA.

I lived abroad, I spent 5 to 6 years of my life in Brazil. I lived in Mexico 1 year. I lived in Canada 1 year. I would say my facts will beat his opinion.

I like how he posted a pic of a fat women on a tread mill, very nice camera work, very professional, who paid for the video, the editing, then they cut to french fries being deep fried and state people who left america were thin, but once they come back they get fat.

Pure bullshit. I have seen fat people from Argentina to Spain, and not one or two, but as many as I see here in the USA. I seen two extremely fat women in Brazil, 300 pounders, on the beach in thongs. The idea that America is full of fat people is fiction based on fat.

And if we look at the guy in the video, his is chunky, he is a pig. Yet he lives abroad.

The video is nothing but propaganda, well done, and easily disproved.

Anybody hear the country this man/woman (he/she did disparage pronoun use) lives in?

Tens of millions of people from all over the world, come to the USA illegally, because we are the best country, thee most free country, the safest place in the world to live.

In Canada my friend had a stroke, she got good emergency care, but they had no room for her so she recovered for two weeks in a hallway.

Australia, another tiny country, like canada, would not of survived if they did not have the USA's market to sell products to. Right now Australia is destroying itself with banning guns, and green energy. Companies are leaving and the people are paying higher rates for energy than they need to be
