What about the genius Al Gore? what did he predict? Eventually polar bears will be living on sheets of ice,,and that our children will never see snow?

There is very little we can do about it as it is nature. There is the option of conquering it the best we can by building/repairing real infrastructure. A lot of what we see is of our own making where we build. Barrier islands and flood plains are a good portion of it. We know what weather was in the past. But compared to the last century ago, it is primitive. So we get all excited and out of joint by the architects of fear who make a lot of money on us in all ways. Like now.

But science based on climate has constantly been changing.

In the 50s atomic energy was going to mutate life and they knew it for absolute certainty without a doubt. In the 70s we knew for absolute certainty without a doubt nuclear energy was sending us into an ice age. In the 80 it was all about we knew for absolute certainty without a doubt the ozone layer would be destroyed and the planet baked. Now we're certain beyond a shadow of a doubt c02 levels will kill us all.

So it isn't that we that the data is new, it's all together seperate contructs of our demise. They every so often changes what will kill us and how and just completely forget about what was going to kill us before.

Climate change is like worrying about a large meteor that is on the path to destroy the earth in 10 years. Granted, there are many variables that could change the trajectory of such a meteor but that wouldn't stop some entrepreneurs and governments from taking full advantage of those that run around with their pants on fire on a daily basis. Five years later when science has determined that the meteor hit another planet and has been eliminated, we are left with some rich entrepreneurs, richer countries, and poorer common folk with less freedom.
