Agriculture secretary says there will be 'no amnesty' for migrants, adults on Medicaid can replace them in workforce

Old people are on mediCARE, mediCAID is different.
Wrong. Medicare does not pay for long-term nursing home care; Medicaid pays for nursing home care if you qualify.

So there are a couple of problems here.

They have never really told us what "able bodies" is in their point of view.
What word is hard for you?
And most of these folk on Medicaid who can work already do.
Now, they all will. Or at least more of them.

Few will be dumb enough to refuse to be active for 20 hours a week to keep what used to be free coming.

then cross the old people off the work list, and get the young ones working.

No more gaming the system, giving us more money for the old people you are talking about.

Who will transport these people, who will house these people to work on farms?

WTF is wrong with this administration where we can’t get a straight story out of these morons. Does Trump want to exclude farm workers or not?

Do you want to spoil the surprise?

I assume you don't call refugees and asylum seekers, 'illegals'? Because under the supreme law of the land in the US, they are entitled to the rights listed below, at the least.

What rights do refugees have under the 1951 Convention?
The cornerstone of the 1951 Convention is the principle of non-refoulement contained in Article 33. According to this principle, a refugee should not be returned to a country where they face serious threats to their life or freedom.
Other rights contained in the 1951 Convention include:

  • The right not to be expelled, except under certain, strictly defined conditions (Article 32)
  • The right not to be punished for irregular entry into the territory of a contracting State (Article 31)
  • The right to non-discrimination (Articles 3 and 5)
  • The right to decent work (Articles 17 to 19 and 24)
  • The right to housing, land and property, including intellectual property (Articles 13, 14 and 21)
  • The right to education (Article 22)
  • The right to freedom of religion (Article 4)
  • The right to access to justice (Article 16)
  • The right to freedom of movement within the territory (Article 26 and Article 31 (2))
  • The right to be issued civil, identity and travel documents (Articles 12, 27 and 28)
  • The right to social protection (Articles 23 and 24 (2-4)).

The issue is now we have NGOs profiting off exporting millions of people.

I can’t disagree with that statement.

I don't see the problem. Illegals are not entitled to taxpayers anything
They know this and pretend they don't. Their tribal leaders have told them to never, ever put the word "illegal" in front of immigrant. They assert that if someone is sneaky enough to have made it to America from Haiti, Venezuela, Mexico, China, or some other S hole third third-world country, they have a get out of jail free card and can stall their deportation for years by getting an immigration advocate to make taxpayers pay for an attorney for him so he can claim that he only left his country because he was being tortured.

And how many people really want to work on a farm which are usually in rural areas.
Want? What the hell? Entitlement is not a free pass to take taxpayer money, when you don't have to...
Yes in the US , machinery is the preferred method as you state.

But in other countries they are still doing it by hand

Hand-harvesting is still the standard in many other countries and you can see that done in many areas of Turkey, India, China, Africa, etc. In these places, the people who harvest are still picking cotton the way it was done in the US many decades ago.

Who cares how other countries do it? It was pointed out because it was a blatant attempt to paint a picture of America enslaving the disabled...

do yourself a favor and stick to the topic, and you won't embarrass yourself like you did here.

These people need to stop using the old line "Americans won't work on farms" because illegals have taken every job Americans used to do in construction and restaurants and factories. The Dems love that because they get cheap labor and low inflation, and put white people on welfare because the jobs are taken, creating all kinds of government jobs for their voters in schools, courts, jails, police, DMV, etc.

Let's not forget good paying jobs truck driving...It's so bad that, thank God, Trump got them to enact a rule that you have to be able to speak and read english to drive one.

You may know that it was Obama and the evil Dems who did that. After they did major truck accidents skyrocketed with many fatalities because Mexican drivers couldn’t read English. Thus the Dems have blood on their hands.

Migrants aren't necessarily here illegally.

Work requirements for medicaid are also a Fraud Prevention device to get the rolls pared down from scamsters.

Having people report and do this work, even if it isn't that much, puts a real crimp in the style of medicaid recipients who are working full time and still receiving the benefits.

They ain't got time for work requirements in their schedules, so they will just disappear.

Farm hand work isn't all that much?
