Zone1 Agnostics: Are you seekers of or indifferent to God?

I realized last night after watching one of my favorite wrestlers and then a show about prisons, why I'm not gay. Or at least not a bottom. How could a man want another bigger tougher man being dominant over them? You would have to be really fem to want to be a gay bottom. If I were going to be gay, I'd pick the smallest guy with the smallest penis. Seems gay guys like big cocks. That's weird. And I really wouldn't care what he looked like because looking at a good looking man does nothing for me.

Point is, as much as I have a man crush on this guy, I have no decide to have sex with him

I have no desire to have sex with him is what I meant. But damn isn't he perfect? LOL

Did you just leave the door open to being gay if you could be on top?
Not even then. Like, if all women disappeared, I'd just jack off to old porn for the rest of my life.

I've seen some trannies who I might let suck my dick. But I couldn't f a mans bumm. It's a man. Gross. I wish I was gay. I'd have a gay best friend. Hey, I'm gonna get going. Want to blow each other before I leave? Sure.

Can you summarize it for me? Because otherwise it does us no good if we can't actually state it, right?
I can try Ding

Genesis as the story of Adam and Eve in Eden , basically God's first man & wife.

This is metaphorical for soul or spirit becoming incarnate

They became aware that incarnation has it's needs , even desires, aware of 'self' per se'

This was the snake, the apple , that man would exist in the material world with all seven deadlies and not corrupt his spirit

Do you care if God exists? Have you actively sought God, and if so, in what ways did/do you seek? If you do not care whether or not God exists, what led to that lack of caring?

I have found no evidence God exists.

I find God to be very, very convenient for humans. Too convenient. To the point where I KNOW God is a human construct designed to deal with the complexities of life by avoiding reality.

Have I sought out God? No. I was forced to go to church when I was a kid, "boring" is the only thing I can describe it as. Other than "pointless".

I'm a person who lives in reality, with all the good and the bad that comes with that. I know people who find life difficult to deal with, some have religion, others don't. The ones with religion might find things easier to cope with than they otherwise would.

I know others who have turned to alcohol, self-harm and the like, and that's not great, is it?

So, I realize that most humans are looking to avoid a lot of reality, so religion is fine IF it's serving that purpose. But some people use religion as a way of conning people out of money, especially in the US, and others for gaining power over people. Then it's not so good.

Most folks do not realize the bible was politicized for the benefit of those imparting it Meri

This is a fundamental aspect of all theocracies
And...those who politicize it do not recognize the many who toss that politicization aside in favor of an individual relationship with the Almighty in his/her individual life. Politics is simply something to put up with, like bad weather.
Another way of looking at it is that everyone is in everything for their own, individual need/purpose. For some, that need is wealth, power, territory (politicization). For others, it is living a simple life and taking enjoyment in that simplicity and how that effects one's spirit and spiritual life.

Those who politicize don't get that what they may be using for their own gains lift those of faith out and away of those political games/gains.

God is.....n't real.
God is not physical. That's the difference. I've forgotten the exact context, but Socrates nailed it with comparing this life to experiencing shadows on the wall as our 'reality'.

When one is not physical, one cannot be a shadow on the wall--and ironically is--and exists--in true reality. Consider the possibility that it is through God that we come to experience reality instead of shadows.

The 'human construct' you know is nowhere close to the reality of God. The 'complexities of life' are the true human construct--quite possibly designed to avoid the reality of God.

What else do kids find boring and "pointless"? Dusting, making beds, washing dishes, some school subjects--just about anything that takes one from childhood play. All of these--including church--often are viewed best with hindsight.

Religion isn't about coping with life; it's about living and embracing life and all its complexities.

Some people use fire to commit arson which is a poor argument for doing away with fire. Just as the greater percentage of people avoid those who misuse fire, the greater percentage of people avoid those who misuse religion. Fire has formed some of the best, most beautiful artwork and the best glass in this world. It has also been set to burn down libraries. This is also true of religion.

Ok, but I'm still not seeing why we shouldn't focus on satisfying material needs and primitive impulses. If we take your metaphor to it's natural conclusion bad things would happen if we did, right? But where's the evidence in the real world? Why shouldn't we say screw spiritual crap, let's go burn all these dumb churches and tar and feather all the preachers and dance naked around a fire?

Given your animosity towards organized religion, what could you possibly object to?

The seven deadlies are hard to miss Ding

Given your animosity towards organized religion, what could you possibly object to?
the fact that they would prostitute any of them for their own selfish gains

Preacher man talking on T.V.
Puttin' down the rock and roll
Wants me to send a donation
'Cause he's worried about my soul
He said Jesus walked on the water
And I know that it's true
But sometimes I think that preacherman
Would like to do a little walking too

Baptists taught slaves to cope with slavery. Don't worry about your shitty life now. Beautiful heaven awaits.
The South Had Slavery; the North Had Sweatshops. The North Was Morally Inferior.

One way or another, those with savage instincts had to be tamed. Mistaking identity, those who oppose White democracy refer to it as "mob rule." Exclusion of one group is justified, Affluenzist Affirmative Action is not. Nepo loves Negro.

The Abolitionists hated the White working class. They caused a war for the union of states but were economically anti-union.
