Red-State Democrats Know Impeachment Without Crimes Will Backfire

"The stakes go up at this point..."
Red-state Senate Democrats are angry that foolish House impeachment proceedings will cost them their seats.
The Hill's Alexander Bolton.
Montana Democrat Sen. Jon Tester, who barely won his 2018 re-election in the very red state shouted warnings.
While initial Fake News reports in the Democrat media swore that Trump pressured Zelensky complete with a threat to hold nearly $400 million in US military aid if he didn't produce dirt on Joe Biden, a release of the call transcript revealed no such threat, while
Zelensky had no clue the military aid had been withheld pending a corruption review of Ukraine by the Trump administration.
Manchin also issued warnings as many liberal Democrats have anti-Trump fever.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said, without a House Vote, that there was a "consensus in our caucus" that Ukraine "is the focus of the moment because this is the charge," referring to the CIA employee's complaint - which was lodged on a form which was
recently changed to allow second-hand whistleblower information.
Sen. Doug Jones of Alabama - another red-state Democrat up for re-election next year also screamed a desperate warning. Jones doesn't want impeachment to overshadow trade negotiations with Mexico and Canada, or a multi-year highway authorization bill.
Poor Doug Jones is running as a Democrat in a state that Trump won by nearly 30 points in 2016, fears he will become impeachment roadkill.
