I suspect this will be a no nonsense investigation and he will be demoted His unauthorized communications with a foreign enemy is worthy of a Nuremberg hanging

First reported by Bob Woodward in his book, "War," the calls were apparently made with the goal of diffusing military tensions between the two powers, and were said to have had the blessing of other Trump officials. In 2023, Trump used a social media post to say that, by giving China "a heads up on the thinking of the president of the United States," Milley had committed "an act so egregious that, in times gone by, the punishment would have been DEATH!"

Awesome! I've been wanting Milley Vanilley to be fried ever since he pledged his allegiance to Xi Jinping. General Patton would have shot his ass.

You cannot demote him as he has been pardoned. Did you forget that little tidbit?

are you sure about that .. though he cant be prosecuted he may still be demoted .. though I could be wrong ..
Pardoned means criminally. It doesn’t mean job security nor does it have anything to do with civil liability.

Demotion is a punishment and must have a reason. With his pardon, that cannot happen.
Wrong.

He can be punished as long as he isn’t prosecuted.

And the “reason” can include all the things that would have made him prosecutable (but-for the pardon).

The impugnment of him is liable for many hundreds of thousands of dollars.

i hate officers. A general drove by me once in a civilaian car and I didn't salute him.
Next thing I know a half hour later when I am back at the barracks some sargeant is jumping into my shit cause i didn't salute him

Of course you do, ty.

You have a problem with authority.

Even if he were not pardoned, worst demotion he could have gotten was reduction to the lowest enlisted grade.

He's not worthy of that. An insult to E-1's everywhere.

Milley will pay
