Advisers urge Trump to prepare for defeat — but maybe without a concession speech

Too much fraud is being exposed. Some ekections in California might be overturned as well. Fight on Mr. President.

President Trump vowed on Friday to continue to fight the election results, privately urging allies and advisers to defend him publicly and insisting that he still had a path to victory over former vice president Joe Biden.

But behind the scenes over the past two days, advisers have broached with the president the prospect of an electoral defeat, and how he should handle such an outcome, two people familiar with the discussions said.

Some close to the president are advocating that, if Biden is declared the winner of the presidential election, Trump will ultimately offer public remarks in which he commits to a peaceful transition of power, according to allies and Republican officials, who like others on Friday spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe internal discussions. One senior campaign aide, however, said there had been no discussion of a concession speech.

Trump is unlikely to ever concede in the traditional sense, allies said — giving the sort of gracious, magnanimous speech the nation has come to expect at the end of even the most hard-fought presidential contests. If he loses, these people added, they expect Trump to continue to baselessly claim, as he has done for several days now, that the election was stolen.

Is it time for Trump to graciously bow out?

Is there really any road for victory for him at this point?
He's a coward and a sore loser. He also has zero evidence this election was stolen. On the other hand, we do have evidence that the 2016 election was stolen.

Stolen by "Russians"?

:cuckoo:

Nope. Several of the states are going to do recounts, and all those fraudulent Dem votes will get tossed.
What is your evidence of fraudulent votes?
Go read outside your normal resources, dear.

Gore conceded the election once the ballots were finalized

Will Trump show the same class?
No, he didn’t. It wasn’t until Dec. 13 he conceded, after the Supreme court intervened.

The whole world is watching this Democrat mass voter fraud scam.
Cheaters never win, they lose their reputation.
There will be millions more "woke" voters.
The Democrats are on their way to extinction.
It's called a "pyrrhic victory" though there will be no victory at all when the courts start to
pick apart the fraud of the attempt to hijack a national presidential election.

Going down too will be the Never Trumper globalist parasites who put lots of money into
defeating Trump, not that money is a big consideration when all those Chinese billions are
financing what so few in America want.

That was the end of his challenges and Gore urged America to support Bush. He never challenged the legitimacy of his presidency.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) issued a press release Thursday, saying:

HARRISBURG – On Monday, September 21, 2020, at the request of Luzerne County District Attorney Stefanie Salavantis, the Office of the United States Attorney along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Scranton Resident Office, began an inquiry into reports of potential issues with a small number of mail-in ballots at the Luzerne County Board of Elections.
Since Monday, FBI personnel working together with the Pennsylvania State Police have conducted numerous interviews and recovered and reviewed certain physical evidence. Election officials in Luzerne County have been cooperative. At this point we can confirm that a small number of military ballots were discarded. Investigators have recovered nine ballots at this time. Some of those ballots can be attributed to specific voters and some cannot. All nine ballots were cast for presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Our inquiry remains ongoing and we expect later today to share our up to date findings with officials in Luzerne County. It is the vital duty of government to ensure that every properly cast vote is counted.
Just one example where someone was caught.

It was one damn state! And it took until Dec 13! What is today? Nov 7 , and several states are involved. He had no more recourse! He wouldn’t have, if not for that. Remember he conceded, then took it back. The Supreme court had spoken!

Exactly
Florida was one state that decided the outcome and came down to 500 votes.

Trump is whining about four states that were decided by tens of thousands of votes.

The courts are throwing out Trumps challenges quickly as having no merit

When will Trump provide a legitimate challenge?
Please. You are a nattering insect providing meaningless background black noise to the theft of the presidential election.

Trump has already filed challenges in court. Your comments are pointless garbage. Trump sues in 3 states, laying ground for contesting outcome
His eight challenges so far have been thrown out as pointless garbage
