This is exactly why I will always be against the death penalty. Our justice system is not perfect. This man did 23 years in prison for a murder he did not commit and was finally released after DNA evidence showed he was innocent. He will never get those 23 years of his life back and all the prosecution said was, oops sorry we did it wrong. That's bullshit. How many innocent people have we executed on death row? Any more than zero is absolutely 100% unacceptable.

DNA evidence has been available for years now. What took so long?

Why was he found guilty in the first place?

The innocence project can only do so much. They've already freed hundreds of innocent people wrongfully convicted. It takes years to overturn a verdict.

Makes you wonder just how good the investigative process and these scientific tests are.

Because the government will do all it can to avoid admitting it made a mistake
You're right. Now think about that. Covid, election 2020, russia collusion, ukraine, impeachment, biden as president, the economy, waco, ruby ridge, fauci, tuskegee, and on and on and on.

Now if we could just get you to view both parties in the same light we might be getting somewhere
