absolutely...i get info from urgent care, and more. I'm going to try Oscillococcinum and also sambucol.

Wouldnt say they ward it off, they reduce severity if you are infected

Well, the thing is, I DO have acid reflux, but Pepcid doesn't do anything for it.

I've got an appointment with a gastrologist (?) at the end of September for this.
Nothing I've tried OTC works.

I hear you. Omeprazole deals with one thing. Famotidine deals with something else.

gastroenterologist. LOL looong word. When a doctor prescribes famotidine they usually do it in larger amounts than you get in the store. You could take two twenties. But i know what you mean. Omeprazole doesn't do anything for me.
