There is only ONE means to "legislate" the removal of an amendment to the constitution. There is a process for that with specific requirements. You won't get it done peacefully if you try it with a party-line vote.

Why would I be outraged? The kid is reported to have had mental problems.
No gun has ever jumped out of the safe and killed people on it's own.
