Sorry to hear about your mom, but if it were me .. I'd want a fast exit, unless of course the Alzheimer was fun with little awareness by myself. I've seen some pretty happy people with severe cognitive decline.

Nah, Skye is just fine, she has always been here and Frank, well, I've noticed him slipping for at least the past year or two. I think Skye just doesn't like the fighting or understand the war and wishes we were not part of it, which, no one wants to be a part of, but sometimes bad situations have a way of finding you.

My mother has had it for years, and is enjoying her life. It’s been a very slow decline.

Of course, I fear for the future.
