Recent readings encouraged me to look into the psychological research aspects recurrent online activities such as gaming and chat forums.
As the 400+ year old phrase "knowledge is power" continues to prove, data collection is big business.
As the more recent acronym "TANATAAFL" continues to prove in commercial America, users of "free" accounts can be mined for data. Recurrent online behavior can be analyzed to predict likely avenues of behavior, fitness for particular jobs, suckers for fishing scams, etc.
Does anyone here have thoughts, pro or con on giving up their data?
