How Many Threads On One Topic Before Something is Done

This is getting ridiculous. Normally I will just scroll past duplicate threads but this is out of hand. One member posted 4 identical threads to vent her displeasure. We all understand why Trump haters love this but someone needs to do a forum intervention and clean up this forum litter

I've become convinced that 90% of the Trump-hating threads on this board are just autistic screeching from attention-seeking, basement-dwelling incels afflicted with ADHD or fetal alcohol syndrome.

Or they are paid and there are only a few. They also use fake names that are the opposite of who they are or misleading names. They tend to over write their posts include too much information or make it so absurd no one would believe it

I remember my early days here when I ACCIDENTALLY posted a "duplicate" thread on a topic that already existed. There was a particularly nasty mod (long gone) who sent me the rudest, nastiest pm for that honest mistake.
On this topic nothing is done (yet). Rules often seem to be selectively enforced here.

Meh, I suspect I have a better than 50% success rate at reporting dupes to where they are locked or combined.

For those that bother to even look the management should include ignored members in the main body of the "has this been posted" pop-up. That has caused me to dupe an ignored member before.

Now if you do a full blown search the there is a prompt at the bottom of the results page to show ignored member threads but mostly I either don't have time fo dat or I forget it's there.

All that said if you don't report dupes not much will happen....OK Texas is pretty good at catching them.

No idea what the OP is talking about but yes... multi threads are rough. We had 10 threads on Swalwell, none with anything new.

As for Trump... If he werent an idiot there would be less threads on him. He is either saying stupid things or doing stupid things. The GOP would be much stronger right now if they took away his twitter access... as it is.. .they are going to be annihilated in November at this rate.
