According to these guys the US attacke Japan in ww2

Let me quote Mike Griffith1:
"You either don't know about or summarily dismiss all the scholarly research on the events leading up to Pearl Harbor"
I have a link to source documents on the atomic bombings, and they list what the Japanese tried to do diplomatically and at no point did Japan offer to surrender before the emperor intervened
You are not paying attention ...... AT ALL .... and that explains why you do not understand what happened in the Pacific.

..... I study history have all my life.....love the subject especial wars.
Yes, I'm sure that you and Tommy Tucker competed getting merit badges in the Cub Scouts.

You and the retard brigade are beyond stupid
I have more personal experience in war(s). That puts you at a disadvantage, Pogey bait.

According to Gipper and Unkotora Hawaii was not part of the US and we the US attacked Japan. Check out the thread the nuking of Nagasaki where both make the claim at the end of the thread.
Which thread do you want people to check out? does it actually exist?

LOL, Incomplete data indeed. 1990 Panama--the only hostility that was fought with rock and roll.

I guess you were not alive or aware at the time, that conflict lasted for over a month and had more than a few casualties.

Including the largest use of females in combat. Including US Army Captain Linda Bray, who commanded a force in a three hour firefight against PDF forces. It was also the first combat use of the F-117.

So once again, you are simply screaming your own ignorance of reality and facts.

Nagasaki is not in question. Without the 2nd nuclear bomb the war would not of ended, the Japanese would of fought to the last man, women, and child
Oh yeah, old men, women, and young children who were all starving to death would have been fierce resistance to the US military.

I could be your daddy, junior.

Starving soldiers armed with nothing but bayonets killed a lot a American soldiers in Banzai charges on every island in the Pacific. Starving Japanese civilians without weapons attacked armed American soldiers and Marines on Saipan. The entire civilian population of Japan was being trained to attack the invaders with improvised weapons. Children were trained to carry grenades and bombs to kill Americans. Many would have succeeded because the Americans would have hesitated to kill children, at least at first and suffered for the rest of their lives for the necessity of the killing.

Don’t be a sucker for propaganda that was never meant for you.

And over 1,000 committed suicide instead of surrendering.

Over 1,000 out of a population of over 30,000.

Math is really not all that hard, if people comprehend how it works. 1,000 out of 30,000. Japan had a population of over 70 million. So just simple math in my head says that if the same percentages were seen on Mainland Japan, over 2 million would have died from suicide alone.

Are you saying the suicides on Saipan were propaganda?

That the civilian population was not being trained to fight by any means necessary?

Over 5,000 Japanese Civilian Volunteers fought in the Battle of Saipan, most of them were killed in the fighting.

On Okinawa, over 50,000 civilians were actively involved in the fighting, last minute conscripts with little training.

And this is hardly unique. One of the first battles fought against the Japanese was the Battle of Tarawa. And when the battle started, there were over 1,200 Korean laborers on the island working on defenses. And as expected, most of them took part in the defense, and only 129 were alive at the end of the battle.

I find it particularly sad for a poopy head that claims to know all about Japan and Japanese Culture to completely disregard one of the very things that made them such a tough enemy. That they almost never gave up, and huge numbers of civilians fought alongside the Army and Navy in their defenses. Not just once or twice, this was common during the entire war.

Another false, ignorant argument.
