According to these guys the US attacke Japan in ww2

No real scholar has backed you up. You don't believe Americans were in China early in 1941, to wage war against Japan. It is a fact. You don't believe US war planes were sent to China. Yet they were.
You are the one making the claim without any factual support on your side. Yes, the Americans were there from later of 1941 to defend China and America from Japanese aggression. They flew two weeks after Pearl Harbor.

The did for a fact. They arrived in China well ahead of Pearl Harbor. The only planes they flew were supplied by FDR. Perhaps you think they were there to play tiddlywinks?
They few into combat the first time about two weeks after Pearl Harbor.

You don't know the history, it is obvious.

Got you to admit early in 1941 Americans sent to China and supplied by FDR with war planes had every intention to go to combat with Japan.
Don't you think Japan knew this?

It was middle or later in the year. Look it up. The Americans first flew combat missions after Pearl Harbor.

Americans, British, French and Germans had been fighting in China since the early thirties. All paid by the Chinese government or the warlords, just like the personnel of the AVG. Chenault had been fighting in China since 1937.

That is not the dispute. They were armed and ready. FDR had to pull the chain. April 1941 is when they showed up in China.

and yet no action occurred by the Flying Tigers till after Japan attacked the US. Go figure your talking point is null and void. as for the planes the US was suppling the Chinese with war materials until the Japanese attack cut the routes off. Then we sent material though Burma and over the Hump.

You totally lost the ability to learn. That or you still believe the propaganda from FDR.

So, you believe the war planes were donated to China? Strange escape plan.

I'm sure if Chiang had won the Civil War, we'd have come looking to collect on all that material we sent him.

But he was ******* incompetent and the Commies won.

Surprisingly, given its notable fame and legacy, the American Volunteer Group existed for less than one year. The group fought for and under the auspices of the Chinese Air Force and The People’s Republic of China, with no direct ties to America’s armed forces. Indeed, most of the young pilots had resigned previous commissions in the United States Army Air Corps, Navy, and Marines prior to boarding a ship in San Francisco in July of 1941 and setting-sail for far-off Indo-China.

By December 7, 1941. Pearl Harbor Day, the AVG was operational in Burma. It is fascinating to ponder that this small, mercenary force from America was already engaging Japan – on behalf of The Republic of China – just prior to Pearl Harbor and Roosevelt’s subsequent declaration of war on Japan.

From JoeB131 link he supplied.

Now the P40 was not a civilian airplane. It was designed to use by the Army Air Corps, later the Air Force. Since they belonged to the US Government, only an official of the Administration hand them over to China. FDR did it secretly.

Your pride in the communists is noted. Mao is your hero for some reason.
Why?
