About those Haitians in Springfield.

Find out. I'm not doing the research for you. I post fact up here all the time that you deny. So why don't you post stories about the white Ameicans who eat snakes, squirrels, possums and worms?

You said dogs and cats can be eaten. Do you mean in the USA?

Again, cats and dogs can be eaten. There are white Americans who eat possum and squirrel.

Squirrels are rodents. The same as rats.
I don't think that is really the issue.

If someone had a pet squirrel or pet rat, most Americans would be just as offended if a neighbor absconded with their pet and ate it.

I know that. The issue is the inconsequential story of a Nigerian in Italy being used to try making a false accusation by the current President an Vice President about Haitians, something that was true.nI live in a farm state. I know people who have a pet pig they sent to the slaughterhouse. It
is not a big thing, but of course, in the effort to try claiming superiority some people will make mountains out of things others do, while ignoring what people like them do.

Perhaps Canadians realize they are part of their future . Inclusion and diversity must always be appreciated in order to prosper and grow.

I will admit that the thing I missed most about Toronto when I retired to rural Ontario, was the diversity. Toronto is 55% visible minorities, and in the various ethnic communities that make up downtown Toronto, it's less than that.

My daughter's public school was 25% white, 25% black, and 50% Asian, because our school district included one of the three Chinatowns in Toronto, and Little India, which is east of the Broadview Avenue Chinatown. Our primary school newsletter came home in 12 different languages. The school offered ESL classes for both students and their parents.

White people in large groups are BORING. I really miss the energy and dynamic nature of a diverse city. Especially the ethnic cuisines, and cultures.

Nigerians aren't Haitian, and cats can be eaten. In some parts of the world, cats are sold as meat. We eat cows, and in some places that's considered barbaric. But since it was not happening in America, and you'd be surprised at what peple eat in Italy, perhaps you just need to drop your racism.

There are nations which eat dogs, snakes, rodents, or bugs. In some parts of the USA, people eat squirrels. I find THAT disgusting, but then I like snails, so there is that.

Canadians don't vilify immigrants. We welcome them and their celebrate their unique contributions to our nation.

Like home invasion and car theft.

Diversity!!!

In fairness, we get 50% of our illegal guns from the USA, and who can we thank for sending the Crips and the Bloods north of the border?

I also find it clever that you blame El Salvador for MS13, which is an American Gang, founded and headquartered in Los Angeles.

An interesting article about Haitians resettling in Springfield, OH. Contrary to portraying them as a menace, they have actually revitalized a city that had been in decline.

Springfield, about 45 miles from the state capital of Columbus, suffered a steep decline in its manufacturing sector toward the end of the last century, and its population shrank as a result. But its downtown has been revitalized in recent years as more Haitians arrived and helped meet the rising demand for labor as the economy emerged from the pandemic. Officials say Haitians now account for about 15% of the population.

“The Haitian immigrants who started moving to Springfield the last few years are the reason why the economy and the labor force has been revitalized there,” said Guerline Jozef, executive director of the Haitian Bridge Alliance, which provides legal and social services to immigrants across the U.S.

But hey, let's post a funny meme about Trump running with a cat in his hands.
I'm sure this has been asked, but did they revitaluze it with money they brought from Haiti?

Not a big deal if they are eating strays. When they take a young Bassett hound kids pet dog is when I want to beat em' up deport all.

How is your Albanian and Muslim diversity treating you?

Had any of your cars stolen?

I haven't tried snails, but I have eaten oysters. Diverse crowds are always the best. Large groups of any one group is boring.
