Abortion foes strategize to get Trump to ban some abortions while keeping his pledge

Which states, and of those how many turned around and voted for Trump after they voted for the utility of abortion?
.

Kansas voted for a more lenient stance towards abortion ... And elected President Trump with 57.2% of the vote.

But ... Like I mentioned earlier ... The Kansas legislature had two proposals for new abortion legislation.
One was a more lenient stance ... The second was no exceptions at all.
If it's going to be 'all or nothing' ... The voters often won't settle for nothing.

There could be more ... I just knew about Kansas.
Missouri on the other hand passed fairly strict controls on abortion ... And now they go to Kansas to get an abortion.

.

‘The 2024 election results created complicated new realities for reproductive rights in the U.S., with Americans even in a few red states overwhelmingly voting to protect the right to have an abortion while also overwhelmingly electing anti-abortion representatives in state houses, courts, Congress and the White House.
[…]
Though many anti-abortion leaders are skeptical of President-elect Donald Trump’s commitment to their cause, they say they are willing to compromise to maintain influence in his administration. Some groups are strategizing how to end-run Trump’s campaign pledge not to enact any federal abortion bans — by heavily restricting medication abortion or trying to ban a common abortion procedure.

“I don’t think we have a champion here for pro-life causes,” said longtime anti-abortion organizer Rev. Patrick Mahoney. “What we have here is someone who will not work against us and try to crush us. We will not see pro-choice federal judges.”’

For the fascist right it was never about ‘letting the states decide,’ that was and is a lie.

For the fascist right it’s about more government, bigger government at the expense of individual liberty.

For the fascist right it’s about enacting a Federal abortion ban that will jeopardize the health and lives of women everywhere – their hateful authoritarianism is so extreme they’re willing to circumvent a fellow fascist thug like Trump.
Why are you so worried about being able to kill the most vulnerable on earth?

Sure slick. You can say that anything and everything is a "state issue" All you have to do is to magically make the 14th Amendment disappear . As you may know, the 14th extends the bill of rights, as well as non - enumerated rights established by case law to the states. So no, the states can't trample on the right to privacy on anything else established by the constitution
Are you on crack?

You need to know that there is a distinct difference between being against abortion as a person of biblical beliefs and facistic activities. In the USA, each of us can speak freely and still be patriots.

Six or seven red states voted for Trump as well as reproductive rights.

Of course, and you can do it nicely to avoid a verbal boot in the ass.

When are you commies going to accept the fact that Dobbs said the federal government has no constitutional authority over abortion and stop the fucking fear mongering and propaganda?

... and that the federal government cannot ban abortion.
