A whopping 74% of the country thinks we're on the wrong track as a nation

Being on the wrong track now doesn’t imply that they think Trump is the right track.

You would think that this stat would obviously favor trump. If they see Harris as a real 'change' then maybe not so much.
However, if they tie Harris to Biden, then this looks bad for Harris.

ABC's Rick Klein: Half Of Harris Supporters And 98% Of Trump Voters Think Country Is On The Wrong Track

The question of "Are we on the wrong track", or "is the country heading in the wrong direction" are the two stupidest questions ever.

Democracies are based on negotiation and compromise, so if a Democracy is working right, no one is exactly happy, but no one is totally left out.

So, either of these two questions should be replaced with:

"Are you in a bitchy mood"? "Do you wanna whine about something"?

Well, THAT should guarantee a 100% response from the Democrats agreeing with the question!!!

He is not the new way forward. He's been there before and he wants to take us backwards.
Back to the future. Not everything that is called progress is actually good. For example, the more labor-saving devices we invent the poorer our physical condition becomes. Sitting in front of a computer all day isn't good for your health. Kids are sitting on the couch playing video games or watching tv when they should be playing outdoors.

I remember when conservatives used to (properly) remind us not to look to others to make our lives better.

Now that's all they do. They look to one guy. A New York City billionaire celebrity con man.

What the hell happened to these people?

Too funny! Fuck yeah we’re on the wrong track and have been for a long time.

A nation $36 trillion in debt, yet the vast majority of people struggle affording necessaries….HC costs, housing, education, etc. However the top 10% are doing great.

What a country!!!!

Trump was conjured by the lunacy of Washington. He's your monster as well as ours. Few are voting for Trump or Harris, but against Trump or Harris.

Very expensive self-inflicted wounds.

I can't argue with that. He is a monster of our own creation, by people across the political spectrum, Left, Right & Center, all in different ways.

That's exactly why I've said all along that my concern here is sociological, not political.

And yet millions will vote for Harris. It just blows your mind that people could hate American that much or be so clueless about what the Obama/Biden/Harris agenda has been/is.
We really don't have much choice, Trump is old & has really gotten extra weird the last few months.
We need (both sides) New people working for US, the majority. not for Billionaires.

Nailed it!

Americans need to reduce the need for government by living more responsibly. That's "what you can do for your country" i.e. JFK.

Trump's vision has not changed. And I don't see that he has gotten weird at all. He has definitely mellowed in his outlook on some things since he was almost killed, but his agenda remains solid in his intention to restore us to an America that is strong and secure economically and militarily and that offers maximum liberty, choices, options, opportunity and prosperity for all

Trump will restore properity but at the cost of greatly increasing the debt. That's what he does, borrow money, lots of money. He's made a fortune borrowing money.
