Most places adhere to these guidelines or they wouldn't pass inspection, but still—if there's a slip up, you could possibly end up with explosive diarrhea due to bacteria that is now potentially growing on the lukewarm scrambled eggs people are picking over.

There used to be a Sunday Brunch buffet at my local diner. I asked when it would be back, and the owner told me quite seriously, probably never. It wasn't that good, anyway, but I did like the fruit salad.

some will come back and some won't i imagine. while i know some chinese buffets are open again, i know not all. golden corral hasn't reopened near me either. but what i *am* so glad to see are a lot of the mom and pop places in strip malls around me did come back. i try to get out and support them as best i can when i can.

for many it just won't be worth the extra effort. but it's a business by business / city by city / state by state call.

Right now, we've still got really stringent restrictions, and we were supposed to move to Phase 4 next week, but now that we're having a surge in some rural areas (like ours that went from never more than 2 active cases to 20 in a week) I'm not sure if the new bar next door is going to be able to open or not.

We are having increases. We have a really nice little restaurant Penn Alps that has/had a buffet (they're in MD) - not sure if it's been closed down. That would be sad, it's a landmark place for brunch. WV is not very stringent. We are supposed to wear masks and I do, but half the people I see do not. (this is just indoors). We are "orange".
