A Thought on Judaism...no "pie in the sky"

"coincidence" being the operative word. The ability of HUMAN
VERBAL gymnastics is limited----not infinite
When there are a lot of these coincidences and they fit with other data, it becomes a scientific method of verification.

regarding the "this name seems like this name" game----
I have noted a lot more shoe horning than "scientific
verification"

try to cope------as it turns out there are enough HUMAN VERBALIZATIONS to manage a cogent language
In this example, there is not the slightest doubt. It comes from the Indo-European root that mean sky. It has root-inflections div and dev. The Zoroastrians turned the same trick, they made the Devas evil, initially they were heavenly gods.

This name literally means dev-el "heavenly god", the affix "el" here is the same as in the biblical eloh and Islamic Alah, it means god.

sound reasonable to me regarding an Indo European root. I
don't know "SKY" in farsi, or sanskrit. DEVI means goddess
in sanskrit which is about all I knew. I do not know DEVIL in
Sanskrit either so MAYBE. Then there is DIVA but Jew and
Jaw is a real STREEEETCH

It's enough
now that we are SO DEEP into language----- "J" is not exactly
a vatican invention (who came up with that one) ---there is actually
a "J" letter in hebrew but it has nothing to do with YEHUDA
which translates in english to "judah" ----the GIMMEL letter
become a "JIMMEL" ----sometimes. It also has nothing to do
with the Yud Hey Vav Hey thing that germans made JEHOVAH----
but there is a "J" sound ---sometimes

how did you come up with a juxtaposition of
"socialism" and "carnage" and why throw in
"muslims" ?

The Church did this, most likely through preaching and education.
They did about the same with the image, it was originally the good god Saman.
btw Hades is exactly the version of "God"

how did buddhist "SAMAN" get involved?. Hades is god
of the deep hole in the earth

Fonetically "god" is "gad", in slavic langs this means snake or reptile. the letters H and G is pair and it often change each other. "*es" is just tipical latin suffix that may be reduced.
Saman is not Budhist's god, this is tibetic sincretism. This is ancient God of Asia, in Europe he was worshipped by the Celts.
Halloween comes from him, which is why it is called Samhain
the word Hell previously meant the sun, perhaps this is also a substitution, or by analogy it was used as "heat". This is the same root as the sun god Helios
in old Europe, reptiles were worshiped, so there the meaning of a reptile and a god coincides. The Aryans also did not have a separate word for god, "dev" means simply "heavenly"
