(Express) – Four asteroids reaching speeds of up to 27,500mph are expected to swing by Earth one by one in the next 24 hours, NASA’s asteroids trackers have revealed. The asteroids are all heading past Earth on what astronomers have dubbed “close approach” trajectories. NASA’s tracking systems predict the first space rock, Asteroid 2010 AE30, will approach the planet shortly after midnight tomorrow (Friday, January 17).

Well hells bells just think if you are lucky you will get a warning 5 minutes before it hits..

In that case no warning at all would be preferable.

Yes all of you dumbass Democrats out there, in some cases even I admit that ignorance is bliss.

Maybe I shouldn’t buy a lottery ticket then

Yes, asteroids whiz by us all of the time. It would be nice if the western governments would spend money on an asteroid defense system instead of wasting all of that money on the fraud of global warming. An asteroid strike IS an existential threat. Global warming isn't.

Interesting. You type the word PAST. The article says "swing by." You end with before it hits.

Hits what? It's not going to hit anything. It's going to go past the earth.

It will make for cool sky watching and possible light show as they pass by,

I’ll bet global warming is responsible...somehow.
Well, those rocks are cold. If we blow one up close enough to the earth it will fragment into a jillion tiny rocks and rain down on us, after of course it wipes out all the NEO stuff.

Not too sure you will be able to spot a 49 to 106 foot rock at over 2 million million miles distance, going upwards of 10,000 miles per hour as mentioned in the link within the linked article.

Will any of the four space rocks strike the planet tomorrow?
The good news is none of the asteroids will come close enough to pose any danger to Earth.

The closest of the four asteroids will be Asteroid 2020 AD1, at a distance of about 0.02334 astronomical units.

A single astronomical unit describes the distance between our planet and the Sun – about 93 million miles (149.6 million km).

Asteroid AD1 will cut this down to a safe 2.17 million miles (3.5 million km).

Ten times the distance to the moon. Nothing to worry about

Oops. 2 million not 2 million million. pain in the but when i stop to re-verify, come back and retype an important word.

You're probably right.

A bigger more urgent problem could be our sun novas and we get a polar reversal. That might result in a total species extermination.

Nah, Judgment Day is what makes Evil Doers Extinct. Maybe you should read up on it. You LibTards will blame it on Global Warming while it's God punishing you all and The Earth with it because the people in it have turned Evil.
