DC-area marching bands skipping Trump’s inauguration


School district representatives told the news outlet that no bands from either Virginia’s Arlington County or Maryland’s Prince George’s County had applied.

NBC 4 heard the same thing from representatives of school systems in Virginia’s Fairfax County and Maryland’s Montgomery County.

Marching bands from Howard University, Bowie State University and the University of Maryland, College Park will also be absent this year, according to the report.

I find it kinda interesting that nobody wants to perform during the inauguration. Why? Because everyone and their cousin was eager to perform for almost all past presidents, but Trump seems to be the exception.

Kind of a commentary on how half the nation views him, but my question is, he's said he has a lot of support from a lot of people. How come no musicians or other artists are willing to support him?
