I seriously doubt it. The religious conservatives will eventually get together and murder as many people as it takes to regain social order. They always do and it always works.

It works until it doesn't. And then things go south for those in power real real quick.

I agree regimes which terrorize their own people as well as foreigners shouldn't be in power at all. When they are empowered hopefully they do not last long.
