Iran wants the USA to release some of Iran's $100B in confiscated money as part of the peace talks.

No, it's about the ayatollahs recking havoc across the ME in its attempt to control it all, to control Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and openly expressing their insane fantasies about destroying the US and Israel. Every country in the ME is worse off because the ayatollahs have been in control of Iran.
The Ayatollah's were only able to take over because the U.S. previously overthrew Iran's government. Was the government we overthrew back then trying to take over the Middle East? Or are there perhaps some other, actual reasons for the U.S. to spend decades toppling governments and bombing civilians in that part of the world?

So now you acknowledge the Iranian people did not choose the ayatollahs, but your head is still clogged with 1960's Soviet anti American propaganda.

There is no rational basis in fact or logic for claiming the US overthrew the Iranian government. While it is true the US favored the Shah over Mosaddegh, the US took no action that could fairly be characterized as overthrowing the government.

They chose the Ayatollah's over the puppet government. Are you stupid?

Again, the Iranian people never got the chance to choose. The ayatollahs were well organized and when the Shah left, they took over and imposed the same brutal control over the population they exercise today.

They got to choose the government that we overthrew back before they were "recking havoc across the ME in its attempt to control it all" as you put it.
