Columnist: Registering Poor To Vote 'Like Handing Out Burglary Tools To Criminals' | TPMMuckraker

Conservative columnist Matthew Vadum is just going to come right out and say it: registering the poor to vote is un-American and "like handing out burglary tools to criminals."

"It is profoundly antisocial and un-American to empower the nonproductive segments of the population to destroy the country -- which is precisely why Barack Obama zealously supports registering welfare recipients to vote," Vadum, the author of a book published by World Net Daily that attacks the now-defunct community organizing group ACORN, writes in a column for the American Thinker.

How bound by entitlement does one have to be to have lost the initiative to even legally prove who they are and all the benefit that comes with it ?

Already a thread on this, as usual a day late and a dollar short.
Not a prob......

"There is one great overwhelming dilemma that dominates American politics in this early part of the 21st century. It is not the extent to which President Obama has failed to meet the expectations of the progressive base, though this matters. It is not the lazy, negligent and incompetent establishment media, though this matters, too. The issue that should dominate the landscape is the radicalization of the modern Republican Party and the effects of having one of two major political parties descend into madness."

If allowing the poor to vote is bound to cause problems, what do we think allowing the weathy to BUY our government officals votes is apt to do?

Democracy is a damned hard system to keep on the up and up, isn't it?

Until you admit you want illegal aliens to have the right to vote, you're not telling the truth.....

Cons figured out a long time ago that it's to their benefit to keep people from voting.
