The most amusing thing about the left is that they are counting the beans of the "revolt" without know what will flower! French socialists have voted themselves funds from the German treasury. Right now, they are celebrating because they were able to score a victory by voting themselves funds from the German treasury. They just don't have the funds and won't get them. What austerity measures have REALLY been adopted by European countries? Can you name one that HAS cut their spending?

The inconvenient truth that those of you declaring austerity to have failed, refuse to see is that something can't "fail" when it's never been used. Austerity measures have been proposed...planned increases to spending have been scuttled...austerity has not been implemented except on an extremely limited basis.

What I await with real curiosity is what the new President of France is going to use to PAY for the entitlements that he has promised to the people who voted him into office. He ran on a plan to hit up France's wealthy with a 75% tax on income. So when those with wealth in France move it somewhere else and the country's revenues actually decrease instead of increase...what will the new leader of France "do"? He's going to have to borrow it from someone. Germany is already saying no. Look for a systemic economic collapse in Europe in the very near future.
