It was interfered with behind the scenes from traitors who were fore fronted as heroes. Using us as a nation of many ethnic groups as the cause of it. Generally, the first-generation experiences the worst in assimilating and even from others. It should improve dramatically from there as assimilation should be taken hold. Those who do not fall behind and then the gripes arise up fast and furious and endless. The rise of the welfare state in all ways has caused massive divisions as many stayed in the way they were living and even live worse with huge hate to those around them a byproduct. We have people who enter our nation now and ***** about it. We have seen it for a few decades and we have seen it with the massive corruption of taxpayer resources in social programs. When they were rioting a decade ago or even less, they were even flying the home country flags. This while living off of the American taxpayer. even recently they did this until told to use American flags.
That's not the topic.
The issue is foreigners e.g. Muslims coming into the USA or e.g. Germany - legally - for different reasons.
The vast majority are those, that view the USA or Germany as a great chance to become rich or simply lead a life in peace.
It is our respective Constitutions (Germany basically got its Constitution in 1949 - pressed onto us by the USA), that provide the basis for "what foreigners are legible for". Which is essentially the same rights as a German or (US) born German (American) would have.
Religion demands that Muslims pray 5 times a day - Fajr (dawn), Dhuhr (noon), Asr (afternoon), Maghrib (sunset), and Isha (night), so they have a right to demand that they can pray accordingly - in school or wherever.
If attending school is compulsory - then it is also compulsory for the school aka education ministry to provide a praying room and a wash facility for their feet. - as simple as that, aka no need to discuss about.
What needs to be discussed - but never has, is as to how "advisable" is it for a country to host/harbor a foreign culture and it's religion in an e.g. predominantly Christian society and culture - and not about "do they deserve a prayer&wash room".
